At Hillcrest we have a variety of ministries available that are designed to meet the needs of people no matter where they are in life. Below is a summary of the different ministries. You may follow the links on the right to learn more about a particular ministry.
Children’s Ministry - Pastor Connie Wheeler
Children are very special at Hillcrest. We recognize their value and make them a priority in our ministry. All of our children’s programs are designed to demonstrate God’s love while teaching the Bible in a developmentally appropriate setting. Our vision is to foster within each child the desire to discover God in a personal way, leaving an eternal imprint on his/her life.
Youth Ministry - Pastor Brian Bufford
Our purpose is designed to meet the needs of today’s youth with an emphasis on helping them succeed spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and relationally. Weekly activities, including a mid-week youth program, Sunday school, and Sunday Worship are all designed to accomplish our purpose.
Women’s Ministry - Jane Scott
Women’s ministry provides Christ-centered environments for women in our church and the community. We desire to encourage and support one another to grow in our personal and spiritual lives so we can influence those around us with a Christ-like spirit. The Word of God and prayer guide us.
Men’s Ministries - Gary Barker
In all we do, we bring glory to God, strengthening our relationship with Him and with one another. Throughout the year special events are offered in a variety of venues to provide fellowship and encouragement, concentrating on the things that make good harmony.
Worship Ministries - Amber Santiago
Worship is a major focus at Hillcrest. “God inhabits the praises of His people” is a belief we act upon. We believe God is present in power and purpose whenever and wherever His children are in a spirit of praise. For that reason, praise and worship are prominent in our services, and our people are encouraged to spend time in worship in their private devotions and small groups as well.
Small Groups - Pastor Tim Westerberg
The purpose of the Small Group ministry is to provide connection with those who call Hillcrest home as well as our neighbors, co-workers, classmates or anyone else within our respective communities. They provide the opportunity for spiritual growth through a wide range of studies. Members become a family that not only studies together, but prays together and grows to support and love each other deeply.
